The first and the last of a very unforgettable experience.
Had the intention of blogging accordingly but screw it, my experience yesterday had me in the silent state for quite some time. Melissa’s friend, Scott, is a pilot for Basair and over Christmas lunch (more on that later), told us he could charter us on a scenic flight. I didn’t want to at first but Melissa convinced me to and i figured i could handle it.
I was wrong.
It had nothing to do with Scott’s flying, i thought he was pretty good actually – kudos to landing smoothly despite the windy conditions. It was my exaggerated fear of turbulence that kicked in. A slight tremor is enough to send me on paranoia mode and that’s exactly what happened. And if you must know, i cried.. Would have been a much better experience if i wasn’t this scared of turbulence. But ah well, at least i can now say i’ve done it. Thanks Scott for flying us!
