The thing about flying to Perth is that the flight is 4hrs long, so i decided to fly in on Thursday right after work, just so i could get a full day on Friday. There’s a 3hr time difference between Perth and Sydney as well and i thought i would pass out when i reached Perth. BUT after a year not seeing Mel, it’s no surprise we ended up talking until midnight haha (3am Syd time!).

As you can see, aside from the Australia Day fireworks and road trip to Pinnacles Desert, i basically ate away the entire trip. Which is fine by me – i already gained weight from my Japan and Malaysia trips anyway haha.

Special thanks to Melissa for always accommodating me on all my visits and for being such an amazing host!
