Kyoto’s oldest and largest temple.
Kyoto’s shrines and temples have a way of rendering me speechless, especially when we scored the place all to ourselves like we mostly did. Walking through the gardens after one tough hike through Fushimi-Inari put me in total zen mode, and judging by the pictures taken during summer/autumn (i’m guessing) when the leaves are a fiery red, i wouldn’t mind a trip back here again.
